From considering the external construction of God’s church, Paul now interrogates the contents of the believers. Sin and pride can deceive us into propping ourselves as the arbiters of wisdom. However, God’s omniscience permeates our own facades and conjectures to reveal the fallibility of the human wisdom that we want to boast in. Sin and pride also cheat us out of the wisdom that God would give to us through His means. I Corinthians 3:16-23
