of REFORMATION CHRISTIAN ASSEMBLY
We, having been called by the Spirit of God, the will of the Father, and the work of His Son into the New Covenant, and having been baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit into the universal Church, do now and in the presence of the triune God and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully covenant with one another as one body in Jesus Christ.
We do purpose to act in all things as men under authority submitted to this church’s government; to make the Holy Scripture the supreme standard for all of faith and practice; to resolve disputes within the church in a Biblical manner; and to promote a godly view of culture and family life.
We believe this local church assembly is a community of believers in Christ caring for and encouraging one another in word and deed; building up one another in the faith; regularly and faithfully worshipping together as the body of Christ; cheerfully using our gifts and talents in serving and giving to the function and needs of this local church; and proclaiming the Word of God for Christ and His eternal kingdom.
We have read this church’s Statement of Faith and the London Baptist Confession of 1689 to which this church subscribes and acknowledging the Biblical doctrines contained therein agree to actively promote the essential unity of the brethren as commanded in Scripture.
We, having undertaken for the glory of God, the advancement of the Christian faith, and understanding and agreeing with the above statements, as heads of our households, join ourselves as covenanted members with Reformation Christian Assembly.
