We don’t look at our lives as if we are engaged in a war, but, we are. John Calvin declared that “the Christian must be ready to fight.” The Apostle Paul calls Timothy to “wage the good warfare” – a reminder of the spiritual battle we are engaged in.  This week we’ll look at this reality to understand its origin and what it means for us to wage this war, and what it means to be handed over to Satan.  May we all be like Paul, who served in the Lord’s army till the end of his life, never leaving the fight.
